Author & Storyteller Dr. Hilda Villaverde Visits Freedom Plaza

Our residents had a marvelous time meeting and listening to Author Dr. Hilda Villaverde’s fascinating stories.

Dr. Villaverde is a very warm, funny, and engaging speaker and a true Renaissance woman. Not only is she an ordained minister who earned a doctorate in religious studies, she is also a published author, speaker, and professional hair stylist who has worked in the Scottsdale beauty industry for 50 years. Now at the age of 72, Dr. Villaverde owns Pluma Designs, a boutique hair salon in Scottsdale. She is excited to share many inspiring, humorous stories from her book, “Living Brave,” which is about how to live bravely and finish strong!
