Freedom Plaza residents had the pleasure of meeting Author Steve Bergsman to discuss his newest book, “The Wanderers: Killer Teens, Rebel Teens, Gang Teens and the Evolution of the Last Great Greaser Feature.” This book explores the factors that led to the creation of the entertaining cult movie “The Wanderers” in 1979. It covers everything about the times, the song, the book, the director, the genre of teen gang films, and (of course) the last great “greaser feature,” THE WANDERERS.
